Santogold - Lights Out (Official Video)
This is her new video, it's also one of my favourite songs off her album... superb: like Gwen Stefani and the 80's done with restraint and taste.
I love Santogold, the girl just knows where it's at. She has quite possibly released one of the best and most original (in my humble opinion) pop albums of 2008, without sounding pop, some may not even consider it pop yet. BUT It has been will get bastardised, mainstreamed and marketed to death, it's just that bloody good. AND we will get sick of it and move onto the next [cool|innoviative|trendy|anti pop] artist... Remember what happened to Moby's Play kids? My advice, enjoy it while it lasts, your unlikely to hear anything so fresh this year (or the next few years?) in the mainstream.
